Being able to use simulation for education, training and beyond, understanding patient safety and errors in healthcare and having the skills to execute simulation and patient safety research are the aims of our exciting programmes which attract learners from all over the world.

Our Diploma in Healthcare Simulation and Patient Safety at the University of Galway is a 12-month online programme.

Our Masters in Healthcare Simulation and Patient Safety at the University of Galway is a 24-month online programme culminating in a thesis for publication.

All our courses are supported by a variety of face-to-face workshop options available to you to suit your needs. They are run in our state-of-the-art simulation facility at the Irish Centre for Applied Patient Safety and Simulation in the School of Medicine at the University of Galway, Ireland.

Graduates of our programmes have gone on to become simulation leads and centre directors, developed simulation programmes and redesigned facilities, published simulation research, secured promotions, and implemented change and improvements in their organisations.
